can't give precise instructions cuz i've just deleted my messages lol. Anyway, there is a way of selecting the Inbox view, if i recall well is "old messages view", then u select "All" and in the action besides "all" is delete from drop down menu. Not all at once but according my resolution / laptop,desktop etc i delete 5-10 at once. repeatedly, u delete them all, takes 2-3 times for me depending how long I haven't cleaned up. I bet on mobile devices this would be more difficult, as everything from the menu actions. I personally hate phones and tablets when it's to use them in sites

i suggest a option to be able to delete all messages instead of one at a time. i got 118 of them again...if there already is a way to do this then please let me know. thanks again
